About The Authors
Two very different life journeys collided in Park City UT; at this time neither realized the full extent of the dream. Read below to learn an overview of how through time and restrictions Jeremy and Rachelle, individually, developed into this moment of exploration.

Rachelle

Rachelle back on the farm
Starlitrambler
A small town farm girl from the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Northwestern South Carolina. Her family prioritized learning strong values, living simply off the land, developing necessary skills for survival, and always lending a kind hand to those in need. Growing up on the farm never had a dull moment with feeding herds of cows, sheep, goats, horses, no less chickens, rabbits, dogs, and pigs. Then there were 2-3 large gardens that needed tilling, fertilizing, planting, weeding, and harvesting. Harvesting was followed by food preparation for immediate use and canning, freezing, or dehydration for future supplies. If these necessary "chores" were not enough to learn the true meaning of hard work, her dad always made time for splitting wood and working for his tree company pulling brush, carrying wood, chipping limbs, running chainsaws, managing ropes for the tree topper, and finite ground cleaning. Many valuable life skills and lessons were learned but further curricular education was necessary.

Rachélle completed two Bachelor of Science degrees in Athletic Training and Exercise Physiology from the College of Charleston. After one last summer of raft guiding on the Chattooga River, she loaded up her small sedan and headed West. After two years of exploration within the U.S.A., she began an accelerated Bachelors of Science in Nursing program at the University of Utah. Many adventures in the outdoors, her personal life, and career have since occurred. Leading to the realization that she would now like to take her developed skills and education to embark on a truly epic journey without a determined time frame, with endless possibilities, with dreams and openness in her heart, raising environmental awareness and empowering others. Driven by the desire to be the change that is needed because tomorrow holds no certainty.

Playing Jeremy
Jeremy was fortunate enough to be raised in the beautiful mountains of Park City, Utah. After moving from LA at the ripe age of 2 years old he spent much of his childhood ski racing and playing outdoors. Once in high school Jeremy decided to forgo a career in ski racing and picked up more conventional sports of football and lacrosse. His mother and father, Ron and Colleen Wilstein, were always there to support him in any endeavor he chose to pursue. After graduating from Park City High School, Jeremy was accepted to Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO where he obtained a Bachelors of Science with a concentration in Sports Medicine. Jeremy always had a love for medicine and the sciences however he discovered his original dream of becoming a Physical Therapist was not where his heart or mind was taking him. During his spring semester of his junior year of college, Jeremy went to New Zealand to study abroad and soon discovered his desire for travel and adventure. He concluded his 5 months in New Zealand with a 40 day backpack trip through Australia, Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam.

The summer before his last semester at CSU Jeremy had no clue where life was going to take him after college and medical school or PT school did not interest him one bit. Instead he took a summer internship with the Southwestern Company selling books door to door in Mansfield, OH for 3 months. Working 85 hours/week, 6 days a week going door to door selling educational books taught him more about himself than any other experience so far. By the end of the summer Jeremy had knocked on over 3,000 doors, sold about $26,000 worth of books and had the confidence and skill to take on a career selling real estate in Park City at the rock bottom of the housing bust (2010). His real estate career launched and Jeremy embraced his new profession. In 2013 Jeremy was named the Top 50 agents under 30 by the National Association of Realtors. Jeremy did however make a promise to himself which he has kept despite the unconventional nature of it. "After 5 years of selling real estate; no matter how good things are going, I will take time to go back and travel the world because if I don't life will get too complex and this dream will pass me by." So here is the crossroad and the promise he kept to himself.
